Nafplion centre is a short drive or 15 min downhill walk. Karathona, a beautiful sandy beach is nea - A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Sofia made us feel very welcome and, as we didn't hire a car, kindly picked us up and took us back to the bus station. It is a fair walk down into the town but we enjoyed the views and the exercise was needed after all the delicious Greek food! We would happily return to Nafplio, it's a lovely old city with great cafes to watch the world go by.

  The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the center of Nauplio, so you did not need any car. The decoration of the hotel is unique and inspires romantic mood. Even the breakfast cap, plates and cutlery were unique and you think that you live in older ages. The man at reception was very friendly and even stopped us when we were going out the first day to repay us 4 euros when he realized he had overcharged us.
