It was in a smaller town which we prefer, outside the hustle and bustle of the big city. within walking distance to the Rhine River and a nice park. It was quiet. The room was very large and clean. Breakfast was wonderful with a large selection of foods to choose from. The setting inside the historical building was quite unique. -

needs to be said this not the bigger skiing area around Winterberg and
there aren't any skilifts to get into this bigger area either.
Still, 3.5 kms along the road back to Winterberg there's a parking
spot from where entrance to the Winterberg skiing area is possible.

Wonderful welcome. After a long difficult journey, Richard, the receptionist/waiter was outside the front door to greet us, in English. He couldn't have been kinder. A lovely place in the countryside. The bedroom was perfect with a nice view. The breakfast is very tasty dresses on the table not a buffet. Thanks to the booking on letsbookhotel.com free bycicle hire. I hope going back one day. Good value for the price.
