  The Hotel Traube is an exceptionally beautiful older hotel. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. When we arrived we were given an upgrade to an apartment, which gave us a lot of room with a balcony. The breakfast room is large and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of cold meats, cheeses, fruit, cerea... cosa dice la gente » ls, fresh rolls etc.There is a tram within 2 min. walk which takes you to Heidelberg if you don't wish to drive. It is close to restaurants and shoppi - We preferred to be out of the city centre so this hotel suited us. The tram stop is a few minutes walk and trams to Heidelberg run every 10 minutes during the day. Our Sat Nav found the hotel no problem. Approx. 10 minutes from the A5. We had a parking space in the courtyard but parking might be a problem when all the rooms are full. Breakfast very good. Rooms clean. Wi Fi good. Good value for money. Bars and restaurants near the hotel.

  Huge surprise what a lovely 3* hotel. Bed was awesome, rooms are huge. Divine breakfast, even though one has to pay a small fee its worth it Free wifi. What you get for your money its an excellent little hotel - Great location close to Heidelberg castle (15 minutes by car), easy parking, super clean rooms, delicious breakfast

  zona tranquilla - nice people - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. In particular they arranged for a taxi pickup at 5:30 am so we could make our departing flight. The hotel was very close to a Metro station and numerous shops and restaurants.
