  Il mio giudizio sui servizi dell'hotel sono importanti ma relativi perchè consiglio l'Alexander Plaza in quanto è un "pezzo" di storia: i fatti accaduti in questo edifico nel 1943, e ben spiegati nella hall, sono coinvolengenti e resteranno un ricordo indelebile per me e mia moglie.   Absolutely excellent hotel, which is definitely on 5 stars level, helpful staff, ideally clean and nice designed rooms. Generally, the hotel was much better than expected to be. If I'll be again in Berlin, I'd stay there again and highly recommend this hotel for others. But this is not big problem, because there are a lot of excellent restaurants for any taste - Excellent location, <5 min walk to Gendarmenmarkt and 5min walk to German Dome. Closest metro stop is Hausvoigtel which is on a great line and can take you (without changing lines) to the Zoo or Ku-damm (shopping area). Wifi is free, stable, and reasonably fast. Hotel rooms are very well appointed and smart. Some great dining options closeby like Chipps for breakfast. All in all would stay again - really a nice hotel.

  We had a problem with our room (it was smelling smoke) and people from reception had a quick and nice reaction, they changed our room, thing that we appreciate a lot. Breakfast is quite good with a german touch (muesli, german delicatessen and german cheeses, german bread). This is a really confortable hotel (beds and comforters...). The hotel was situated within walking distance of Museum Island and the Nikolaiviertel so sightseeing was easy. Having a subway station across the street gave us convenient access to the rest of Berlin.

  Everything. The staff were so helpful. They upgraded our rooms to one bed apartments. Which were amazing with everything you could wish for in inc tv in both bed and lounge. The staff were utterly charming and the check in and out were swiftly and efficiently dealt with. One of the best features was the bar. It's located in the city center near public transportation and all the necessary amenities; such as, shops, restaurants and all the main city attractions – most of them are within walking distance. He gave me all the necessa - Me and my friend stayed for 4 nights. It was really good place to stay, walking distance to shops and some tourist spots, transportation was so close. The staff was really helpful Alex, he even helped us to reserved a taxi going to tegel airport since we had esrly flight. He even gave us a quick introduction of the history. Good value of money, wifi was not all the time work, but it was fasr though. I will still choose this place next time i visit berlin. Overall....thumbs up.
