I was placed in a room with three guys who didn't understand hostel etiquette and who came in at 2.30am talking and laughing as loudly as possible. After a couple of hours of putting up with this I went downstairs to ask the guy at reception if he could do anything about it. He very kindly transferred me to another room. I was so grateful to him, I don't know his name but he ensured the rest of my stay was a pleasant one. Thanks!!!

The decor and attention to detail....Personal style and not typical chain hotel...Good atmosphere in the bar and restaurant... Nice clientele, so quality fellow guests not package tour brigade..Staff very helpful and quality...Food good...Nice wines....Stayed in 4 hotels as car was being repaired ,my children thought this one the best,me too. -

We loved the morden design of the apartment. The kitchen is fabulous. The location is 5 min walk to Metro/train station. The manager is super friendly and responsive, he even loaned his cell phone for us to use during the stay. We had a great time in Berlin! -

Staff are friendly, especially at the breakfast restaurant. Most
reception staff are friendly and helping. The location is excellent. 1-2
minute walk from Alexanderplatz station where underground, tram and city
train can be found. There are many places near by that rent bikes
including the hotel itself. There is Alexa shopping mall 2 minutes away

Just spent the first two days of our Honeymoon here in Berlin and stayed @ The Holiday Inn Alexanderplatz. After getting off the train and going in to a nearby tall hotel to ask for directions to The Holiday Inn, after the way I was treated by 3 members of staff of that hotel by just asking a simple question, it was pleasure to know that we had not booked to stay and that hotel and instead had opted for The Holiday Inn. I really like the Aquino! It is a serene hotel yet it is very central in Berlin. The staff are always helpful and its very clean and does not crowd over you. It is always my first choice when am in Berlin though it is not always possible to get a room. -

Large apartments hotel. Really beautiful corner apartment full of windows, great view at TeleTower. Technics, furniture, equipment, stuff are very fine and new, good well known producers (AEG, Toshiba, etc.). Delicious croissants in the morning. Coffee. Clean, fresh. Large comfortable lift. It was one of my best rooms/apartments abroad.
Well located, between two different subway stations (different lines), 2-3 minutes walk. Alexander Platz is 7-10 minutes walk.

Plenty of restaurants just around the corner from the hotel, Particularly liked Tucholsky, Torstrasse 189. Be aware that they do not take credit cards.
