Excellent location in the middle of the city, with great parking in the back of the hotel. We had a family room, which were two double rooms with shared hall and shared bathroom. This was the neatest place we stayed, and is really what I had envisioned about Bavaria. Quaint and well maintained building. Adjoining family rooms were big and were perfect for us and two grown kids. Great view from balcony. Very quiet and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is great. Very good restaurant, both dinner and breakfast. Just good all around. Enjoyed it.

The room was clean and comfortable, the view from balcony was excellent. Breakfast buffet had lot of variety and was simply deliciuos. Staff was very friendly. Finally, the hotel location could not be better, it is surrounded by nature (located in a hill) and very close to town.

Klaus and Christianne were great hosts and very helpful for advise on what to see and how to get to various places. The room we had was very comfortable with a balcony that looked out to the Zügspitze. Breakfast was also very good. It was good to be able to get a hot drink from the dining room during the day. The town centre of Garmish was very close as was the train station.

The price was excellent, the rooms were nice with pleasant balconies. The bathrooms were very modern, the lobby had nice couches, vending machines for candy, coffee and beer, and the breakfast and dining area were superb. We received free bus transportation (after paying the 2EUR city tax per person per day) and the bus stop was close to the hotel. It was super easy to navigate the town this way!

The hotel was extremely comfortable and ideally located. We were at the mountain in 5 mins each morning to ski. Breakfast was very good and we were well fueled for the day. It is an ideal location winter or summer to enjoy the Garmisch-Partenkirchen area.
