Pfefferbett is a really cool hostel that's been recently renovated.
It's modern and clean and has a range of excellent facilities.
Luggage storage is handy and the buffet breakfast for €6.50 is great

24h reception with really helpful staff.
Fairly big secure locker included in the price, each bed has a light and electricity socket, my room had a private bathroom too even if not specified in the booking, not sure if all rooms have it.

I was in a 6 bed room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom had 3 showers and the water was hot which I liked the most. The hostel was convenient to the west city center. There's a underground station next to it. The stuff were all very friendly and very helpful. They introduced the whole city to us and marked the popular places to go on the map for us, saved us lots of time. Love this....

The location is very handy. We've been to Berlin a number of times and with the standard of public transport, most central locations will be ideal for discovering the city - the same applies to the Generator. Loads of places you can walk to, U-Bahn just down the road and Freidrichstrasse station very nearby also.

I stayed at the dorm room this time, and it was one of the cleanest dorm with most comfy bunk bed I've ever experienced.
The 6 bed female dorm was cute and funtional; each bed has its own power socket, head lamp, huge drawer.
The power shower was great too. The wifi was free with great signal up to my room.
I'm not a dorm-room fan, but I definately recommend this dorm for anyone who does.
The location is very close to most of attraction and metro. Supermarket, McD, KFC were a little bit far

The hostel is situated very well to tour Berlin. Trains and Underground
are close by. Great staff that was very helpful and friendly at all
times. The rooms were tidy, so were the bathrooms. The breakfast was of
good quality and the price of 5 Euro more than adequate. Parking was
available to us even without a reservation. I can only strongly

Small stores on the same block.
Incredible close to the east side gallery.
Close to the disco/club district.
Connection with public transportation.

Hand basin and mirror inside the room.

We were only there for 6 hours- arrived late and had an early flight to catch the next day, so just needed a place to crash for the night. The place was clean and quiet though, and the staff were very helpful. - Staff was amazing. Bike rental is cheap. Breakfast is pretty decent for 5 euros. I was placed in a room with three guys who didn't understand hostel etiquette and who came in at 2.30am talking and laughing as loudly as possible. After a couple of hours of putting up with this I went downstairs to ask the guy at reception if he could do anything about it. He very kindly transferred me to another room. I was so grateful to him, I don't know his name but he ensured the rest of my stay was a pleasant one. Thanks!!!

It's just 20 min to Tegel airport. But still very close to the city center. There are couple of supermarket (like LIDL etc.) in 7 min from the hostel. Also they have double rooms in so called hotel so you don't have to live in 6-8 person room.
