  The hotel was exceptionally clean and quiet. The owner was fantastic: friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast room and the food offered each morning. Eggs. Yogurt. Cheeses etc. Our room was very comfortable and we had Internet access.

  Location is outside of Dusseldorf, an easy 15 minute train ride into town. I don't know if this is a continuing program, but the hotel gave us passes for the rail/bus/subway system, saving us money unexpectedly. The hotel is quiet, despite being adjacent to the main rail line into the city - no problems with noise during the night. Note that there... cosa dice la gente » are limited dining facilities in the town - and the hotel couldn't feed us one night, so be sure to reserve for dinner if not eating in the city. Big - The Haus Litzbrück is the perfect German countryside inn in the North Rheinland, but it is close to Düsseldorf and Köln, nearby beautiful forests for hiking. Anne, the owner, is so wonderful, and it's like living in a beautiful home. The food is absolutely fantastic. The photos and descriptions do not do the place justice. It is much more than it is made out to be!
