Cosa dice la gente
It is a very cozy, clean and comfortable hotel. We had a very nice room, with great view over the harbor. Staff was helpful and kind and walking to the old town is not difficult or long at all. There is a nice bar if you want to go for a drink in the evening and not go too far away.
Very nice seaside room with a balcony and view of the walled city just across the harbor (within walking distance). Close to a couple of restaurants. Even though we did not make use of the bar it did look very good and had a good assortment of drinks and cocktails.tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Fabulous position near some top quality restaurants with superb views from the front of house .Easily positioned to cover town or both bays with castles and small marine one side and a great view of old St Malo the ,and a bar underneath..
lovely refurbished room with wonderful view over St Malo Old Town and Harbour. Quirky unusual small hotel in the middle of town. helpful, informal staff. Lovely bar/breakfastroom with same view. Close to good restaurants.
the position of this hotel is ideal for anyone catching the ferry or fast cat.
rooms are over A bar so nice to have A drink and not drive.
set in A pretty bay great for walks.
Comfort of the bed. Good linen. Simplicity. Lovely view. Nice welcome. Good value breakfast. Helpful reception/barman who booked us a local (and late) dinner.
Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, good location with lovely views. Convenient for a two-night stop in St Malo before returning with the ferry to Portsmouth.
Great location, quiet area withing walking distance of everything.
The downstairs bar where the breakfast is served is very nice.
Outstanding location - lovely views - excellent bar - excellent restaurants, cafes and bars very close by and excellent staff.
Good location, near to the fortress. Wonderful view from window. The staff are enough affable. Free parking and wi-fi.
Perfect location for the ferry, some nice cafes and creperies nearby,
public car park on the doorstep - free!.
We were very happy with our stay especially the view from the bar - the staff were very friendly.
Good location. Good parking. Very clean. Good basic breakfast.
Very friendly staff and beautiful authentic marine bar !.
Pleasant greeting. Decor simple and attractive.
Position
Good breakfast
Not to large.
The staff are very welcoming.
Everything.
The balcony had a nice view towards the port of Saint Malo. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar where the breakfast is served is decorated like the interior of a pirate's ship.
The lovely view over the bay from the room, and from the breakfast room, and the rather special bedroom balcony.
Location right near the water and the yacht marina.
decor in restuarant - access to beach and harbour.
Nice view in the sea view room, comfortable bed.
If you like beer and rock music,
this is it.
Good location, restaurants close by.
Nice rooms.
Handy to ferry. Lovely views. Beautifully decorated bar, quiet in the day but horrendous at night.
Breakfast, Bar is nice.... Except when you want to sleep...
location.
The check-in was quite late and there is no proper reception. You have to call someone if you arrive early and want to leave your bags there. We had to leave our bags unattended at the entrance.
Since our room was directly above the bar it was a tad noisy but not until very late.
Parking was awkward we ended up half a mile away although lots of spaces its pot luck. Bar was closed, and some of the electric points were broken.
Hard to find. Not signposted. Back door locked and no indication it was part of the adjoining bar. Above a noisy bar (but surprisingly it didn't disturb us).
Smell of drains in the entrance hall when we arrived -probably not the hotel's fault. the hotel was clean.
The noise from the bar during the night.
Room is clean, but very cold in the room and in the bathroom.
Breakfast a little expensive at €7.
my only complaint the shower was very small.
A bit chilly in the bathroom!.
A bit noisy if you take the room right above the bar.
Closed until 4pm on arrival, not just the rooms but the whole place.
Although bar and disco open until 3am was mentioned on booking form,(sat) we were only told how noisy it would be on arrival, and it was! we were given earplugs but that didn't stop the vibrations or noise!.
Nothing.
The walls were very thin, I could hear the TV running in the adjacent room until 4 a. m. The shower walls had several stains which couldn't be removed by cleaning.
The shared loo was just about adequately clean, but with no window and along a twisty corridor.
Noise from the bar below until 3am. Not being able to get access to the room or to even see anyone there until 4pm.
The Hotel SHOULD NOT, i repeat NOT, be open to guests when they have a disco BLARING OUT and SHAKING the place. It was impossible to rest, let alone sleep, until 3 am, when the row finally ended. They should be ashamed of themselves.
I shall complain to St Malo tourist board.
Loud beats from the bar below-and I am saying that as a really good sleeper.
the noise coming from poolbiljart
and disco, public parking.
Room very cold on arrival, heating not on.
Poor bathroom, no real service from staff re the area places to see etc,
no map available, no information re local events, found a great music
festival by chance. Enjoyed stay but wouldn't go back to this hotel.
horrendous noise until after 3a.m. right under the bedroom window from people in the bar.
Impossibility of parking in August. We drove round for 30 minutes looking for a parking spot- which was half a mile from the hotel.
Worst breakfast we had this holiday - only bread and jam.
Room above bar is very noisy... Mold in the shower...
had to wait outside hotel for 30 mins as wasnt open arrived after there check in time upon getting into bar area were you get your keys the two lads behind bar were very rude and acted like they wernt bothered no apolige for being kept outside room was very old and tired and to top it all in the morning no hot water so when payed bill was given a 10 euro discount and asked not to put it on here stayed in a lot cheaper and better places in my time will never go back again.
Staff rude and unhelpful. Aware that we had an early ferry but no warning of loud music. Music played very loud until 2am on a thursday even after we made 2 noise complaints. Room unclean, shower didn't drain, holes in wall, handle broken on bathroom door. Room wasn't the same as the one advertised. Rip off, not good value for money. The worst night I have ever stayed in a hotel. Puts me off booking with letsbookhotel.com.
