Cosa dice la gente
Hotel d’Arlatan is a lovely, interesting hotel, with gracious, helpful
desk staff, and a very nice, quiet garden. Always check out the
photographs - unusual. And they may have an exhibit. The rooms have
plenty of space, nice furnishings, comfy beds, shutters in case you need
more darkness at night. Bathrooms may have a shower device, but no
curtain, but are otherwise modern, standard for many European hotels.
Water pressure was good, lots of hot water but occasional cold spurt.

I felt like a Borgia princess in this wonderful hotel. Steps from the place du forum and van googn's night cafe painting spot, it is quiet and calm. You can hear the birds sing. The pool looks gorgeous but too rainy and cold when I was there. Good wifi, they will make a cup of tea or a nice port at the bar. Very nice staff. So atmospheric and generous breakfast! I hated to leave.
Excellent location in centre of old town.
Super old house with plenty of charm, and a swimming pool to relax in after a day out. The room was clean and comfortable, with a view of the pool and a very good buffet breakfast was taken outside in a lovely courtyard.
Excellent service and good value for money. Would definitely stay again.
excellent central location; beautiful, atmospheric historic building; well-maintained and tastefully decorated; spacious, very clean rooms, with airconditioning, modern lighting; nice public rooms; very friendly reception staff, good concierge service; excellent valet parking service.
A super comfortable 600 year old building. The most interesting hotel I can remember. Right in the middle of Arle's World Heritage Site Historic Center, Hotel d'Arlatan immerses you in the amazing 1000 year old atmosphere.
Lovely historic setting, friendly courteous staff, cozy well appointed room, easy access to rest of town, interesting historical sites, great shopping and wonderful restaurants.
The Arlatan is a charming hotel in the center of the old city of Arles, five minutes from the arena. The rooms are spacious and the courtyards delightful.
It's a wonderful 16th century stone house, the original house of the count d'Arlatan. It's also right in the heart of Arles, one of the jewels of France.
the most romantic and nice hotel which I had stayed during my 20 days' trip in French this time! also very close to the plaza for foods and shopping.
We enjoyed our time at Hotel D'Arlatan very much. It was great to be in the old city of Arles. The hotel staff were very good, as was the breakfast.
The right location for a quick stop. You are right in the center of the city. Since Arles is such a small town to visit, the ideal stopover place.
1. Wonderful little swimming pool to cool off in mid-afternoon
2. Nice courtyard
3. Secure parking
4. Very quiet in very central location.
Lovely building, lovely situation in the core of Arle's old town, and an amazing pool in the "Patio" interior which we really enjoyed!.
I couldn't believe how beautiful this incredibly historic hotel was and how grand our room was for such a low rate. We loved it!.
The history of the building and architecture behind it origin. The friendly & efficient staff and the comfortable chambre.
beautiful building, looked like a caste to us!
beautiful outdoor space
helpful staff
great room
Perfect town to explore.
Staff were excellent friendly and helpful, hotel had everything you needed, local attractions within walking distance.
A lovely old building with some beautiful furniture and décorations. Breakfast in the shady courtyard was a delight.
I liked the old house, the elegant decoration and the patio. My room was also full of light and calm.
Great location, lovely staff and very French experience. Also parking available at a reasonable cost.
The hotel has the charmed of a turned of the century home, it gives the hotel a lot of character.
.location
.pool
.garden/terrace
.old world charm
.helpful people at reception that spoke English.
Ancient building with lots of charm and special rooms.
Very good location.
Very nice stay!.
We liked the history of the Hotel and the close proximity to local Restaurants and shops.
Great location, beautiful pool and interesting historical building. Help with parking!.
Well maintained hotel. Modern enough to be comfortable but retains provincial flair.
breakfast
information and advice
lovely old chateau
central location near Rhone.
Had a very charming, sunny room in this old hotel with lots of character.
very nice location to the city center and nice atmosphere in the hotel.
This hotel is in an old building full of charm. Great location.
Beautiful old building in a great location, very helpful staff.
Great location. Good parking. Easy to find. Interesting rooms.
Wonderful, d charming bldg
Perfect location for exploring Ares.
ambience, breakfast, large room (for France), helpful staff.
1) Staff is very helpful.
2) Hotel location is very good.
very friendly and helpful staf
character of old building.
Good location, historical building. Staff very helpful.
Its location and the history of the building.
Gorgeous hotel, a must stay.
Excellent hotel.
Located in Historical area of Arles. the hotel itself is historical building, lovely court with 3 turtles in the fountain. within walk distance to Cafe le nuit (cafe Van Gogh), Arena & etc.
The location was excellent if difficult to reach by car.
I liked the location and hotel swimming pool.
nice swimming pool, gorgeous back yeard.
Location Staff building. Courtyard.
rustic and quaint.
Location.
The building is lovely albeit run down.
Very quiet.
very central and close to restaurants and sites.
The position is pretty central but very difficult to park and hotel
parking is 14euro.
Very tricky to find...gps doesn't work in these narrow medieval streets. But worth the trouble!.
Roads to hotel are one way and very narrow.
TV was outdated, remote did not work; no shower curtain for the tub.
It's a great place to stay.
Breakfast did not quite live up to the rest.
A bit difficult to get to by car.
More information about the parking would have been helpful.
Well, you are in a historic setting...that includes as well the interior of your room then, just accept it ;-).
Can't hear TV, volume won't increase.
The shower over the bath - bit tricky getting in and out for a small sized person. Bathroom large enough to have shower cubicle on its own.
2 outdoor spaces with chairs and tables but not allowed to eat out there or take a bottle of wine out and enjoy the great setting!
Terrible getting to it; someone should explain about putting the code in to make the posts in the street recede, otherwise it appears you can only walk to it!.
no complaints this hotel was ecellent.
You must ring the hotel for access if you have a car you need a code for vehicle access.
We didn't have a phone!.
Breakfast a little pricey.
.a bit of a smell in the room.
Prices this year have gone up compared to last year.
Decor was a little tired - not particularly my style. Would have prefered a power shower, rather than a bath with shower head.
Difficult navigation to hotel, but you're in a medieval city--it's the charm and headache.
Contrary to info provided, there was no frig or minibar in the room (a nuisance in a 4-night stay), and the swimming pool was unheated (a shame given the cold weather).
Breakfast was a bit expensive so we skipped it.
tricky getting car to hotel-- roads are narrow and confusing. hotel staff showed us the way with a handy area map, and they park the car in their secure area.
1) AC not working all the time.
2) Very weak wifi connection.
3) Hotel access by car is not convenient.
4) A bit pricy overall.
like most city hotels, expensive compared with hotels out of the centre. A good experience as part of a "touring" holiday.
Very very narrow streets. If you drive, bring a small car.
Arle is not a car friendly town which was not clearly explained to me when I booked the hotel.
The Hotel is locate in the traffic limit area which got the barrier with pincode to enter. make sure you asked for the code if you would like to drive to the hotel.
I do not see the point of there being a plugged-in refrigerator in the
room that deliberately does not work. The bathroom was very outdated.
I booked a triple room with 3 single beds but actually found I was in a room with a double bed and one single. The receptionist insisted it was what I had requested because the double bed consisted of 2 singles put together, regardless of the fact that it had one set of bedding! Also, it was necessary to pass through the single bedroom to get to the bathroom.
Breakfast was expensive for what it was.
AC didnt work, wifi didnt work in the room, staff was lazy and unhelpful. the room was pretty but impractical. breakfast was too expensive
the city itself is nice but no need to stay the night.
Bathroom tiles loose , shower did not work. Television did not work.
Have stayed before , would stay again but would check room first !.
wifi marginal in room
no shower curtain.
Expensive parking and price higher than when I ordered.
The air conditioning did not work.
On arrival the receptionist was very rude because we had not booked a parking space ( we did not know it was compulsory! They did not make very plain in their website.!!)
The parking and driving to the hotel were diabolical to say the least but they had one good factotum . The lift packed up but was repaired during the night. The paint from all the windows was peeling off and some of the floor tiles were loose.
The stuff unpleasant, arrogant and not helpful - treating the guests
as "numbers". Rooms too small. Too expensive compared to
what it offers.
