  Service was excellent we received an upgraded roo. Staff very friendly. Gave us a great discount when we extended our stay an extra night. Breakfast fabulous.   The hotel was close to the train station and the surroundings were pretty especially with the freshly fallen snow. The receptionist, Anne W. was very friendly, pleasant and helpful. The hotel is quite nice and my room was very cozy. The bed is comfortable and everything was very clean. Dinner was expensive but the quality and flavours were - Location is simply beautiful - marvellous park, historical place and buildings, very nicely combined with the modern ones.   We were there for the Orienteering World Championships, it proved a good base. Enjoyed the pool but had not time for sauna - quiet place not too far from the centre of Kajaani. Friendly personnel. Excellent breakfast.
