  The cottage and staff was excellent. Especially I liked our host Pasi who helped us with everything we needed: fishing rod, worms for fishing, boat, linens etc... He explained how to get to the nearest town to the supermarket, he waited for us till midnight at our arrival when we experienced unexpected delay in St Petersburg.   I hit Järvisydän almost by accident, had heard about the place sometimes before. Now was having business trip and needed place to sleep. Offer was good but the place was just brilliant: very nice old-style restaurant with good foor (they said from the local farmers and fishermen) and a bit different rooms and villas to stay over. The restaurant Piikatyttö offered good meals and the atmosphere generally speaking is relaxing, and the medieval thme is nicely visible in public areas - yet the villas used for accommocation are modern, meeting the requirements of the modern age travelers.

  Few days ago I went to Mikkeli with my and my friend's family. We rent a cottage in beautiful gated Visulahti. But when we came over, there was a probmlem with our cottage.   We had a magical stay at the cabin and sauna. We took saunas each day and swam in the cool water. The owners are so friendly and everything is clean, orderly and efficient.   We stayed for 2 nighs. The weather was bad. But cottage was excellent:more convinient, saune, wonderful facilities, fire place. We had a magnificent weekend. Thanks o lot! Especially thanks, the staff on reception! We got a lot of information about castle and museums that region. - Good location, not so far from Russia. Good value for money.
