Kind and hospitable staff. Nice living room to drink a beer and chat with other travellers. Excellent location. In this hostel you can wear your shoes :D , in the other hostels you need to put your shoes out :( -
We were together with my friend. The hostel is rather simple - without any extra advantages.
But we really enjoyed hostels' location.

Right in the middle of the old town making it a very convenient hostel to stay in! Most restaurants around the old town open till late. Towel was included when I was there, which was a plus.

It is located in the center of historical city, right beneath the historical wall. Perfect point to start any sightseeing, perfect point to return to after long day of visits.
2. The Host.
Taro was one of the most perfect hosts you could ever dream of. He provided us with all the information we needed, then topped it with local lore: we discovered certain things we would have never discovered without his help. We also asked for some of the small favors which he willingly helped

The manager Pep was there the morning I checked out, he was just as nice and walked me out the door and directed me the easiest route to get to my ferry.

I liked everything. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I really felt like home. It has free WiFi, free breakfast and my room was very comfortable. It has the best location ever: inside the Old town, just a few steps from everything. Fantastic for backpackers!! -

Kohver hostel is perfect. Good location, great design, warm atmosphere, friendly, hospitable and always ready to help staff! You will fall in love with this incredible old building with terrasse and cozy comfortable rooms. Such an amazing city as Tallinn needs a place that would be good enough to let you feel all it's magic. I would definitly book Kohver next time :)

As I got off the train tired from the journey I was instantly energised by the fairly tale look of the city. The train station is very close to the hostel and the old town. The hostel is in the old town and very convenient. It is also just a couple of km from the bus station. The staff were so friendly, helping me to book my onward journey to Riga

The hostel is located right in the old town and few mins away from attractions. unlike other hostels which are usually in a crowded location, this is located in a peaceful setting. Also it is so close to viru and the viru shopping mall where you get the bus to the airport. very conveniently located, very helpful staff and clean.

In the first I was not sure if I have make good choce when I arive to Red Emperor, it was hard to find and the bar looks slummy whit car parts and grafity all ower. They ma clean that out.
But the staf is frendly and the beer is cheap.
I am bicycling traweler and it was no proplem to store my bike near to the lobby locket insid the hostel in 24hr wew from the desk.
