  Lovely pension in a good location for old town. It is possible to walk to the old town / castle in about 15 minutes. Friendly owners who are very helpful. English is spoken. Room is spacious, bathroom is nice, breakfast offers a wide selection of hot and cold food. The pension is on a large allotment with outdoor seating and a lovely garden. If you are arriving by bus from Cesky Budejovice disembark at Spicak bus stop if you can as it is much closer than the main bus - Really enjoyed our stay. Peter and Daniela were wonderful. They helped us out with restaurant tips and events currently happening in town. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good, with a variety of choices. We plan to return with our son and will definitely stay again at Penzion Onyx.

  We had a wonderful stay at this Guesthouse!! It is a newly rebuilt and renovated old farm and has been decorated so simply, yet elegantly. Very clean, modern, and stylish!! Paul and his wife are so friendly - It is a good example of a successful family business. My wife and me stayed there during 3 weeks, every day was a real pleasure. When something of these problems arose we were generously helped by the penzion stuff. But the majority of the guests were much younger!
