  Abbiamo soggiornato al 1.Republic per 3 giorni. Tutto perfetto. La camera che ci e' stata assegnata (eravamo io, mia moglie e due bimbe) era molto grande, quasi un miniappartamento! Camera da letto, una camera/studio con 2 piccoli divani letto che diventavano appunto 2 letti, uno sgabuzzino e un bagno enorme. La stanza era la 101. Io odio gli hotel in pieno centro, questo e' leggermente fuori dal centro storico di Praga ma siamo sempre andati in centro a piedi (15min circa) oppure si arriva in centro con 3 fermate di tram. There was a nice clean en-suite shower room with loo. I had read that there were toiletries in the bathroom, which was good, as we had travelled hand luggage only. But this was soon sorted by the kind and polite gentleman on reception who supplied us with a couple of small bottles of very - The localization of hotel are very good because is far from turistic downtown and near to subways and trams (public transportations). This is good because the city does not operate with Euros, only tchec crouwns, local money, and the there are better currency exchange houses and good restaurants. The view is amazing, its possible to see the castel, mainly at night.

There is metro station right opposite the hotel. 2 out of 3 metrolines stops there. There is also a tram station right in front of the hotel. There - Staff were friendly and helpfull, usefull advice was freely given. Metro station across the road, so getting about was straightforward. Hotel is a 10-15minute walk from the Old town & Wenceslas Square. My partner had a birthday while we stayed and the small gifts left in our room were an unexpected surprise which she really appreciated.
