This was a great hotel. Very modern with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The room we had was very clean, in fact the whole hotel was spotless, and a good size with great shower room and good size balcony with table and 2 chairs. The bed was very comfortable. Architecturally and as measured by position views etc. this is a gem.
In the case of the experience at the hotel we were not let down. Staff
were excellent, always helpful and friendly. Facilities were great;
wonderful outdoor pool with towels provided and poolside service .
Excellent breakfasts individually made if required. A lovely walk along
the waterfront took you to the old town in about 40 minutes or taxi

We booked this hotel the night before when we had to return to Split and wish we had seen it on our earlier trip. Lovely hotel with a cafe and restaurant attached. What a wonderful place made even more enjoyable by the warmth and friendliness of Velco & Katica. Velco collected us from the bus station and had no problems with an early check-in. L'appartamento è dotato di aria condizionata, balconcino e lavatrice! I bambini dormono in un soppalco non proprio comodissimo. Wi Fi ottimo, piscina gradevolissima. Cosa buona è la possibilità di pagare con carta di credito. Una rarità in Croazia.

My cousins and I could not have been happier with the accommodations and especially the location. I have been to Split many times and have in the past always stayed in hotels. This was my first experience with an "apartment" type of accommodation. I loved loved loved the patio for late evening relaxation and people watching. Everything was like new and very clean. Both Antonia and Robi were wonderful and were very helpful in making our stay one to remember. -
The apartment was a very nice size for 4 adults and magnificently located just outside the western wall of the palace at the Iron Gate. The terrace was amazing and spacious with a nice view of the square and a beautiful Romanesque house tower with Gothic belfry and Renaissance 24 hour clock adjoining the terrace. No bells ringing thankfully. Very charming and full of history. A great location to explore the palace and return to wonderful accommodations.
