Location is ideal in the sense that it's 10 minutes to a children-friendly beach (via a promenade with restaurants and cafes), groceries can be done just next door, Dubrovnik's old town is easily reached in 15 min by bus, and the port for island trips is also within walking distance. Fantastic rooms, clean and spacious with an amazing sea view from the balcony. Lovely pool and plenty of loungers by the sea. Good bars, although we found the cocktails were better at the seafront bar. Plenty of choice at breakfast with sparkling wine making it feel that extra bit special.

My husband and I stayed at Batala apartments for 3 nights and found it to be extremely good value in an otherwise fairly expensive city.
Our double room was quite big and had an extra single bed and seating area as well. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower very very good.

Zdenka was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean if minimally furnished, but then, you aren't there to spend time in the room. Il silenzio e poi la cortesia degli addetti - The staff at the hotel become your family for the stay. They show great attention to detail and get to know each of their guests personally. The Pattiera is also so central and occupies possibly the best location in Cavtat. The hotel's restaurant, the Dalmatia, is probably the best restaurant in Cavtat.

communicated by email, offering us a taxi to the old city if we wanted
it. She met us and took us to....not a room as we expected, but a two
story apartment, on a quiet street in the old town of Dubrovnik. We had
our own place including cooking facilities, for the price of a cheap
hotel room. I'd recommend this place for anyone. In fact, we wished
we had more than one night; I could have stayed a month!

Mladen and family couldn't do enough for us whilst we stayed with them. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone for a nice relaxing break. Dubrovnik is beautiful and the location of this property is perfect if you like to be close enough to the beach and restaurants but far away from the noise. -
We stayed one week at Villa Timy in the beginning of July. Good location near restaurants, walking street, bus stop, taxi stand and shops.
Lovely and very friendly host family (especially greetings and thanks to lovely Lara). I will recommend.
Croatia is great country to visit. I will recommend it as well.
