Loved my stay at the Marriott, location is perfect as very close to Nanjing road and restaurants. Staff were helpful, receptive & professional. Facilities are of course top-notch and very high standards. I would stay here again.

Location, location, location!
I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily.
The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there.

The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the
interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and
especially the rooms is outstanding.
The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi.
The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.

Everything was excellent: spacious and clean room, impressive lobby,
breakfast buffet with variety choices (both western and Japanese food),
good service and good location (close to the metro station and shopping
streets). We booked train tickets to Beijing and tickets for the
acrobatic show via business centre, this was very convenient. -

A very comfortable room in all ways, bed, bathroom etc. the pool was gorgeous, not crowded and great temperature. Also liked the spa before swimming. Loved the welcome plate of fresh fruit, chocolates and bottle of red wine. -
Staff kindness.

Being a relatively new hotel it is all very well presented and clean. Staff are polite and quite friendly, but you may have difficulty being understood in English. I was in the wrong airport needed wifi they offered that free and brought me a drink i looked online and booked last available single room however it was gone by the time they received my reservation so i got a free upgrade at already top price for the room.
