  Excellent Location just off Nanjing East walking Street and easy 3 min to entrance to Metro (Peoples Square). Room is nothing flash but more than adequate for the price. was facing the street so a bit of street noise but you should expect that at this level of accommodation. Good breakfast selection. I had booked a room with no windows at 50% discount. The windows were, but the overlook the patio with artificial lighting. To relax and sleeping well for this price!

  The location is fantastic (I lived in shanghai before and it is for me the best district in terms of charms, local designers' shops and underground bars) And it is very central.   Friendly staff who all tried so hard to accommodate my needs. Had trouble printing out my online flight check-in and the manager was most patient and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Easy access to the Bund and heart of modern pulsing Shanghai. Great value for money and I will definit - this is an excellent hotel, with great service. check-in was easy. the rooms have just enouth luxury to make you feel you're in a high-class hotel, it had a nice view of city. and the rates are very affordable. breakfast was nice, it had both western and chinese food. the location is very good because it is within a walking distance from the bund river. i would definitely stay at the riverview hotel again.
