The staff is friendly, even if they speak a little English. They can provide you only few additoonal information regarding how to rent bicycles, going to local traditional restaurants, activities and so on only because of their poor English. If you can speak/understand a little Chinese they can give you good advice. Anyway, on a wall in the hostel

My best Chinese hostel experience ever. The staff was excellent and very
helpful. Even though the location is not in the center it is easily
accessible by bus. We had a beautiful view from our causy room. I loved
the colours of the hostel. Our bathroom lights were broken but they had
it fixed in no time which is amazing in China. Excellent value f

The location is good. About 10 min bike to the West Lake and there is a free public bike station nearby(in the parking lot of the Zoo).
The price is cheap.
