the building is very interesting, the price is reasonable, and the staffs are all very very nice - Personel where very friendly. Hotel was nice and I loved the bed. Usually you have too shoft beds at hotels and my back doesn't like that too much. This time my back was ok even after 10 nights :D. And the fruit from the trees tasted good.

Really like the place, real Beijing feel. -
By its very nature I was immersed in the Hutong and saw how those people live on a daily basis.
For one week I got to feel like a real Beijinger living in the Hutong (albeit a fancy Hutong) and see the culture in a way that is impossible for a tour group staying in a fancy hotel.

We thought the staff, Xiao wei and Gu jie, were excellent. They were tremendously helpful to us and very friendly and caring.
It was very close to the main attractions of Beijing but in a very quiet area. We felt very safe.

Best location in Beijing. THe hotel is close to Wangfujing and Tiananmen East subway stops. Hotel is within walking distance to Wangfujing, food market, forbidden city, national museum, tiananmen square. A few stops from the lama temple and temple of heaven. Wifi in the room and lobby, excellent connection. Room service, food was OK but sufficient.

I absolutely loved this hotel. All the staff made me feel so welcome.They made me feel like family. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. A most beatiful old historic courtyard building full of loads of character. We had a four poster bed and looked out onto the courtyard. A peaceful haven set amongst fascinating huton alley ways. Very clean, very comfortable and lovely breakfasts.
