  The staff do their best to make you feel good. They are always smiling and they spare no effort to serve well. Most of them we meet speak English and those who don't will try their best. The rooms were amazing spacious and with a very tasteful decoration. The charges were fare. The looks of the hotel amenities are astonishing. When we had a taxi p... cosa dice la gente » roblem, unrelated with the hotel, even it was not their fault, they apologise for the inconvenience and made efforts so we continued enjoying our stay - It's clean, the room is spacious, the staff are helpful (although they had a hard time speaking in English which seems to be the norm in Beijing). The location (depending on your fitness, it's around 20-30 mins walk to Forbidden City and about 5-10 mins walk to Qianmen St. Market and I guess, 10-20 mins to the Temple of Heaven)

  We stayed for 5 nights from March 28 to April 2. They granted us all our requests: big carpeted room with king-sized bed and nice view. Thanks Ms Jenny of reservations whom I had been coordinating with via email! The hotel is very near the Chongwenmen subway station (lines 2 & 5). The hotel is also directly connected to New Worl - The staff, especially Julia, was quick to respond to our needs and complaints. We were transferred to the upper floor when we complained about the noise from the renovation and to a non-smoking floor as requested. The room and the double bed are big and comfortable, the linens and bath towels are fresh. Free coffee and tea. The tv channels include hbo and English news.   The comfort of the beds is extraordinary, so is the quality of the food at breakfast and in the italian restaurant. Staff is friendly and helpful.   Staff is very kind - one of our young guests (11-years boy) forgot his passport in hotel and we were very happy when we called hotel 6 hours later and were informed that his passport was found and now we can get it - and so we did immediately, our flight was not cancelled.
