Super friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were gorgeous and with a great location this hotel made for a wonderful place to stay in Beijing. - The staff women were amazing. They helped us schedule trips we wantedand offered suggestions without being pushy (like many other hotels). Iwas very impressed with the service aspect and recomment to friends.

The staff was friendly, and the location is great. The rooms are old fashioned, but if you need just a place to sleep, this is good value for money! Whenever we needed assistance, the staff was always helpful.

The location is perfect, just 10 min walk away from Qianmen and Tiananmen Square, you can also find subway and bus quite easily around there.
The cafe bar is really nice, good place to meet friends.
Beds are pretty comfortable, I stayed in a 14 bed dorm, quite a big room, not crowded at all. The A/C works well, hot water 24 hrs, and oh! the bar opens 24 hrs as well, which is a bonus!
The price is quite reasonable in Beijing, esp at central area.

I absolutely loved this hotel. All the staff made me feel so welcome.They made me feel like family. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. Nice room, powerfull air conditioning. very big t.v., very comfortable bed. We stayed in Beijing at Xiao Yuan Alley Courtyard Hotel for 3 nights. It is lovely small hotel in Chinese style. It is very friendly, pleasant, comfortable and cute! Featuring charming, ultra-helpful English-speaking staff; the Xiao Yuan Alley hotel provides comfortable beds and good facilities, with a superbly located downtown hutong (Beijing alley) location, sensibly priced organized tours (if you wish) and excellent and very reasonably priced food available inside and nearby outside the hotel. And it's a very affordable place.
I very much want to stay at this hotel again. I get happy just thinking about it. Highly recommend.

Incredible service (we were accompanied all the way through an unexpected visit to a doctor), beautiful rooms, amazing pool & gym and even reasonably priced room service! And the deli downstairs is amazing. -
