The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful, and they'll sit
around and have a drink with you or play a game of pool. The
bar/lounge area was simply superb: massive sofas, fresh flowers
everywhere, a great menu, cheap drinks - just perfect. The room was
lovely, and the yard area outside was also great. There's also a
cool terrace upstairs which I imagine is wonderful in the summer. Really
good place to stay as it's walking distance to the bar streets to
the north, and a quick subway ride . tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
One of the best hostels we stayed at in China! After the dust, pollution
and busy nature of Beijing, coming back to the hostel was like coming
home to a calm peaceful oasis. The common area and reception was always
filled with fresh flowers, the food was delicious and reasonably priced
and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We did a day trip to
the Great Wall with the hostel which went very well and smoothly. Useful
free map provided. Looks a little rough from the outside, a couple of
m.
Peking yard hostel is one of the best hostels I've stayed at. It's clean, cosy and relaxed. My favourite is the wonderful lounge area that smells of orchids and has a very cosy athmosphere. Tried both the basic and the standard dorm and both are comfy and clean. I highly recommend this hostel! It's situated in a hutong near the metro station. For someone who hasn't been in Beijing the street might feel a bit dark but it is super safe! ! It's just how beijing is, full of hutongs :).
The staff in Pecking Yard Hostel was very very kind, The surrounding is not the best but the location is good. once in the hostel you will feel in a beautiful garden of your dreams, the hall is amazing, full of flowers, sofas, facilities. the room was quite small but was ok for few nights there.
perfect location, very close to the metro station Zhangzizhong Road [张自忠路] on line 5. Staffs were very nice, standard room was very clean, comfortable and cozy. The lounge is nicely decorated with books, photos and paintings also with wifi.
The staff were excellent and helped out with all the information we needed. The hostel was clean and safe. A little haven away from the hustle of Beijing.
Cosy hostel that had a nice homely feel to it. Staff were beyond friendly and the common room and courtyard were a great place to relax. Loved it.
Excellent and cosy hotel. Very good location in a Hutong. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Very kind to our little kid.
love the relaxing feel brought out by the hostel, especially the lounge area. makes a holiday totally commpete.
Nice decor, good staff and central location. Situated in a hutong which gave authentic feel.
Very close to the Subway, close to Bakery and easy to get around. Family friendly.
The good environment, the nice and helpful staff and the pleasant shared room.

Good attmosphere

Comfortable.
Very friendly staff, the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed.
staff style food.
j'aime la terrasse et la grande salle.
Location.
It was quite expensive when compared to other places, but I think the
extra money is worth it. Unfortunately in our room (twin) there was no
wifi - I think thew wifi is only available in the lounge area, and
it's quite slow, but again, this wasn't really a problem, as at
least it gets you into the communal area and talking to other people.
No vpn connection to access facebook.
Wifi signal was poor in the standard room in the back yard. Maybe they could work on that?.
Activities that were advertised on website were not actively promoted by the hostel, created a quiet atmosphere.
Portions of the diner and breakfast could be a little bit bigger.
Cost of food was rather pricey. Cost more than 60 yuan for a meal plus a coffee, which equates to a lunch or dinner cost.
Lobby and bedrooms were cold and heating wasn't too efficient.
Sometimes the room had discomfort odours.
Laundry was expensive.
Unpolite guests making noises late at night.
the room is too small for 100 rmb per night.
Rooms were very small, and noisy.
Towels were old, no amineties,
We stayd here only one night and paid 450rmb. For this money we have stayed in much better places in Beijing.
This hostel just doesn't exist. Nobody picking the phone and nothing the address provided.
