  Stayed in a seaview room. Nice view of Guangyu Island. Very nice room, very comfortable bed, free wi-fi and wired internet in room worked well, good breakfast buffet. Terrace bar food was surprisingly tasty and well-cooked. Xiamen is a great city for a short 4-5 day holiday, plenty to do. Also shopping much cheaper than Shanghai / Beijing. We booked a delux room with seaview but got upgraded when we checked in...which was lovely. Booking a room with seaview is a must. The staff were also very helpful from reception, room service and the restaurants.
