Beautiful rooms right out of a magazine; Fresh flowers every day; gourmet breakfast (4 to 5 courses); fresh coffee when you wake; a bed so soft & comfortable you don't want to leave it (& it was turned down with chocolates at night; library filled with books & a computer plus small frig with cold drinks; grounds out of a garden magazine & staff so friendly & helpful. Everything from the beauty of the house and the garden, the comfort and decoration of the rooms, the modern bathrooms, the delicious gourmet breakfasts and most of all the warm welcome of the host and staff. Everyone was kind and always eager to help the guests finding restaurants, preparing for visits of Victoria. This was an excellent and very relaxing stay. We will go back.

We would definately recommend it to our friends. The resident is very romantic and so suitable for the couple.The decoration is so luxurious and stylish. The bed is very comforatble. The breakfast is homemade and it's so delicious. Great experience, would recommend to all our friends and colleagues. Had a fantastic breakfast. Super comfortable bed!!! Will stay there again. Special thanks to Liam & Eliza. Fabulous place to relax out of the centre of Victoria. Liam greeted us and made sure that we had all the info eg restaurants etc for our stay. The breakfasts are a gourmet treat. This was truly one of the most beautiful B&B's I have ever visited. I absolutely loved it and the food was fabulous too. I will definitely go back to this location again. It was pretty much a perfect experience. The room, the amenities, the breakfast (oh my, the breakfast), the welcome. We will definitely be going back. Chocolates on the pillow for arrival, formal breakfast with other guests, guest lounge with coffee/fridge etc. Elegant and comfortable room. Beautifully designed in an old world kind of way. Elegant surroundings, good breakfast, especially the presentation. It is a beautiful place, friendly owners, great breakfast, relaxing garden. Lots of antiques and a lovely history to the mansion. This is a fabulous bed and breakfast. The rooms are beautifully decorated and romantic. Breakfast is second to none. the decor was lovely , room was spacious, big bathroom and tub. nice gardens in back yard, gourmet breakfast. Magical room In a fabulous villa In a wonderful city, The Marco Polo Is where you go to Celebrate life. every thing was great! the breakfast each day was awesome! the staff could not have been better!. Location. Ambience of place. Hospitality of staff. Cleanliness of room. Great breakfast. Beautiful B&B. Staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Everything was just perfect. Most excellently. Hard to beat. Staff, ambiance of the Inn, and the wonderful breakfasts. We loved the Villa Marco very nice stay. Great car wash!. Everthing. I didn't like that I had to leave after only 2 nights. They strictly do not allow children (below 14yrs old) to stay so even we have booked and paid, they do not refund (which is understandable) so please pay high caution if you have a kid traveling with you. The garden behind the place is too old to enjoy~. You need to be prepared for the walk to the centre or taxi fares. Can't think of a thing. Be prepared to need to catch a bus into downtown Victoria - not a problem in itself but does make you need to plan your day if you want to pop in and out a few times. Lacked areas in room to plug in electronics. Need to put outlets for equipment on side tables either side of bed. Need more comfortable chairs and ottoman in Silk Road room.Should replace towels left as requested in tub daily, even on Sundays. Coffee should be available at 7am not 8am.Toilet paper holder in Silk Road does not turn or operate correctly...annoying little detail. Location doesnt work if you dont have vehicle, nothing within walking distance. Everything was great!. Unfortunately there was not a singular contact with the management or owner, not even at the arrival nor at our leaving.
