A comfortable well-run establishment with very good in-room free Wi-Fi. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Hourly courtesy bus to Airport. Worth a walk to see the wild-life along the local creek. Several restaurants within easy walking distance. The Thai/Vietnamese one was good! -

The room size was great and a very large bathroom. Bathroom and pool
towels were huge! Comfortable bed and though close to the airport,
wasn't kept awake by the faint noise. Very relaxing pool and hot
tub. Cookies were fab! -

We arrived around 2.30pm but had to wait 40 minutes to get checked-in. There weren't enough staff initially, then the computer system crashed. We accept that problems happen, but the reception staff handling these issues at the time were poor, showing no regard for the frustration of customers waiting to check-in. The location of the hotel is most desirable for travellers needing a transit stay in Toronto between flights. It operates a regular efficient airport shuttle service. This hotel is top-notch. The building is smaller and more intimate, which we really liked. The staff is amazing. Even if the rooms were not as luxurious and well appointed as they are, it would be worth staying just for the service. We used the concierge several times and their recommendations were perfect. My stay was absolutely perfect. The staff is friendly and polite. The room and bathroom were large with a nice terrace.
We stayed during the TIFF, a Valmont facial was offered with the room (indeed, we love valmont!!!). The SPA is great. I recommend the manicurist who is amazing!
ONE restaurant is very good, the staff again is extremely nice.

The hotel was clean looked good on the outside and inside. The rooms
were clean and it was good to have laminate floors. It was good that
there was a pool, workout room and a place to eat. Staff was nice and
helpful. There was not much sound from the planes flying into and out of
the airport. -

Location of the place, with the 23rd (and maybe also some other levels)
overlooking Queen's Street and the new City Hall is simply
fantastic. My main incentive to stay in this hotel was that the Airport
Express stops 20 meters from the exit, Toronto coach terminal 200
meters, and it was at most 20 minutes leisurely walk from the most
remore parts

The front desk staff were most helpful in sorting out my reservation -
the computer and I are not on the best of terms for on-line bookings.
Due to the weather / wind direction, the hotel was on the landing approach for the Toronto airport. I loved watching the planes come in low. Yet, inside the hotel, there was no airplane noise at all!

I love my room. I was in a king suite. The price was unbelievable. I was
impressed with the living room bedroom concept that was separated by
french doors. I also liked the bathroom lay out. The bed was
comfortable, I didn't want to leave. The resturant was good. The
server was polite, and fast. It was simple and quiet. The staff was
friendly during check in and check out. I stayed for one night, and
wished I stayed longer. I will for sure stay at this hotel again in the

The hotel staff went out of their way to make our visit special. My husband made some requests because we were staying for our 44th anniversary, and the hotel staff went beyond what he requested. The room was ready early and set up beautifully.

We can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at the
RoyalYork. It was our winter get away the year.( Didn't have time
for an island trip ) We took the train to get to Toronto, so we just
walked across the street. The Royal York is so majestic that as soon as
the door men open the door for you, it is like walking into another
world. Everyone so helpful and polite. The Elite restaurant was

Everything about my stay was amazing we also had a free upgrade. The pool area was small but still nice and atmosphere was great. The staff who checked me out she was so nice and Friendly. -
