Cosa dice la gente
I traveled to QC with my son, who was there for a conference. The place was very simple and completely adequate for our needs-which were a place to sleep, wash, relax after a long day, quiet and privacy. These were all provided for at the Manoir. It was also convenient to other destinations outside of the city. Some have complained about the breakfast - but we found it adequate for our needs. Also the staff directed us to a local supermarket and we purchased things for other meals which they le. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Everything was pretty basic but you get what you pay for. Breakfast was fine, room was comfortable and there were no issues with the shared bathroom. The location was really handy for all the main areas of Quebec and for the train station, which was good for us. There were a lot of restuarants and shops very close to the hotel.
This is a great hotel, the people that work here are the best so friendly !! They help you with everything. The place off the hotel is perfect aswell just a fuw min walk to the old city. Im staying in hotels alot but i had great time here!!! Price quality is just greattttt.
Close to everything you want to visit in Quebec City. Clean. Air conditioned (other travelers in reviews said their room was not air conditioned but our two rooms were). Continental breakfast was fine. Rooms with private baths available. Price.
We came by bike and it was no problem to store them. Very friendly staff and clean place. The room was very nice, too. Easy handling when we decided to stay one more night. We would definitely come back and recommend the place.
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, hotel and room were immaculately clean, located just a 15-20 min walk from the old city and with lots of eateries/cafes nearby. Breakfast provided was a huge plus!.
I like the wonderful staff who were friendly and accommodating. Upon
arrival the staff was extremely helpful with a map of the city and
suggestions on where to find food. The wifi was also a good connection.
Location was in a good area downtown. Most attractions within a decent walk (15-25 minutes up the hill), or an easy bus ride.
Good value. Shared bathrooms were as expected.
Pleasant surprise was the free breakfast. Everything was great.
Airconditioned room on 1st floor. Clean and comfortable. Convinient
parking for $12. Nice hotel keepers.
Everything was good as expected, very good for people on a tight budget.
The owners are really laid back and it's been fun to talk with them.
Staff friendliness, cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms, availability of a free, diversified buffet breakfast, low cost, and location.
The room was cute. I was actually travelling with my dad (but we are both adults). There wasn't an option for that above.
very kind staff, good position close to the old town (10 min by feet) and to the bus stop.
The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was very clean and
spacious.
very warm,good value for money.
staff is very nice.
Friendly and helpful staff, the owners are really laid back. The helped me quite a lot after a misunderstanding. You have a very cheap hotel close to the old Quebec, with a good price to location ratio.
+bread at the breakfast was really good
+reception staff was really friendly and made lots of great recommendations on places to see in the city.
It was clean, warm, good design with nice paintings.
Breakfast was simple but the bread was good.
Good price.
location.
Through no fault of the Manoir, we were further away from where we needed to be than we would have liked. Getting to the conference site - and the Old City - required many uphill & up stairs walks. Good exercise but difficult access.
The whole place could do with a bit of face lift but if it got one the price would then go up!!.
Slightly musty smell at first, went away after air on awhile. Only one area to plug in electronics and no outlets in bathroom.
Breakfast was only until 9am and we had to hurry up a little bit the first day.
Only once did I have to wait for the shared floor bathroom to become available.
Bed was hard and uncomfortable, pillows hard and flat. Breakfast was very bare.
Nothing negative.
The lack of soap or hand-dryer/paper towels in the bathrooms; and the lack of protein (eggs, meat; exception: peanut butter) for breakfast.
There was only one bathroom to share among several people. In the morning, I had to wait over a half an hour to use the washroom. That was unpleasant.
Even though the room was spacious, the bathroom was really small.
Literally, it was a 6'x3' space including the toilet and the
shower. The wifi signal was very weak, although, I used the free wifi
service from another building which was strong.
Types of the breakfast are not rich enough.
Breakfast is small and times to have breakfast are limited. Times to check in and out are as we'll limiting late night travelers.
+the musty wet towel smell of the room just hits you in the face upon opening the door
+internet was really slow
+two flights of stairs were treacherous, they were narrow and the handrails were for left handed people.
The breakfast was very poor and the personnel was not enough, the smell
of the coridor was not very pleasent.
Shared bathroom
Furnishings were old.
Too small.
