  One of the quietest rooms I have ever stayed in. Great beds and very spacious. I will stay again for a late arrival into Ottawa as the price was less yet a better hotel than the others that I have stayed at in the past. - very helpful staff, check in was quick!   whoever makes the beds needs a raise because I've stayed at alot of hotels and have rarely seen that much work and detail given to making a bed - which really is the heart of a room - Nice place to stay. Clean. Breakfast selection was awesome. Food was great Would stay again

  Having stayed at the Southway a half dozen times in the last ten years, this visit was the best by far--perhaps it has something to do with the change of ownership?? The reception staff were excellent: getting me a coffee while I waited to check-in (the system was down) and then giving me 10% discount vouchers. Ditto for the room; no chipped - I liked the clean homey atmosphere of the hotel and also the fact that it is only a 5 min drive to the Casino and race track. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the Shallows restaurant --- got an upgrade during the current renovations and appreciated that very much.

  Clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff. Great location when flying from Ottawa airport. Airport shuttle (7 minute ride to the airport) is part of the reason for selecting this hotel - and it was very efficient. We have stayed here before and will again.
