Location, location, location.... In the heart of Quebec. We stayed in the recently remodeled room 36 on the 3rd floor. Small, but cozy and quiet. Steps were no problem. A/C is quiet. We took their package deal for one day only. It included 2 breakfasts and dinners with a bottle of wine @ Restaurant 1640 downstairs and 1 day paid parking. What a great deal! Food is delicious and service is outstanding. Information center is next door.
We definitely will stay there on our next trip.

The location of this charming, boutique hotel is excellent. On a quiet street, but steps away from the Frontenac and promenade. We enjoyed several waterfront picnics in the Jardin immediately across the street. The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. All of the main attractions of the old city are within easy walk

I loved this hotel. I have visited Quebec City many times and this was
definitely the best location that I have stayed. It is a short stroll
from a quiet and relaxing room to the many sites, shopping and
incredible tastes that can only be found in Quebec City. Our room had a
large tub to unwind in after the winter day excursions.

Le Chateau de Pierre is a charming small hotel in the center of Old Town. It is in walking distance of great restaurants and the Citadel and museums. The room in the hotel was comfortable and the owner was a gracious hostess. Min was especially helpful in suggesting places to eat and things to do. Breakfast was included and fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, and a variety of beverages were offered. She even called a taxi for us at 4:30 in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We got one of the 5th floor rooms, which meant it was really quiet. It also meant 5 flights of narrow stairs. Of course, since it's a historical building (like much of Quebec City) building codes prevent the addition of elevators, so this is par for the course. Beautifully reno'd room and bathroom, though the ceiling was a bit low due to the angle of the roof. Close to lots of nearby shopping and restaurants in the old city (and the lower old city, too, which was a bit cheaper).
