The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. They welcomed us when we came in and looked after us very well. The lobby gave a very good first impression of the hotel and the room was well appointed. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely staff there again. I liked the hotel, and also the waterfront at Centennial Park looked to be a fun spot for families (I didn't make use of it myself). I didn't see much else of Barrie as we were visiting family out of the city.

Room very comfortable. Staff friendly. The girl working in the breakfast room very friendly and efficient. Overall stay excellent. it was clean, staff very nice, large comfortable rooms, having a fridge and microwave, great breakfast and it's location. liked the cleanliness and the comfort of the bed liked the location liked the friendly staff liked the price. - front desk personnel was very helpful, friendly and knowledgable of local businesses and attractions. The room was spacious & cozy breakfast was good the staff helpful & friendly. Front desk employees were very polite and helpful. Felt comfortable. Can really think of anything I didn't like. the depth of the pool, the pool area looked somewhat dirty and the clorine was very strong. did not like the atmosphere in the breakfast room too crowded wanted to watch a movie from our room and it wasnt available the room smelled of cigarettes we dont smoke so i had to open all windows for hours to clear it up a bit but we could still smell it. - need more waffle makers (especially for rush breakfast times) - eggs were dry - we were given a free upgrade but it appeared that the room we had was the same as the one we booked?. Nothing.. The pool was not very clean and the hot tub was not working very well .. The pool liked really green at the bottom .. The spa area was closed for maintenance. Noisy neighbour, but I didn't complain so I don't know how the hotel would have dealt with it. We went down to breakfast and came back. Our door was ajar and a man was in our bathroom fixing the drain problem. Didn't leave for abit. Made us very uncomfortable, they should have waited until we left 20 mins. later because we were uncomfortable. Had over an hour left and wanteded to swim and hottub. We left early... noisy. pool was down, breakfast room was too busy. Room smelled horribly of smoke. A bunch of rowdy girls in the pool who had thrown all the towels into the pool. There was a whole bunch of kids. We could not use the pool! At breakfast it was a ZOO. Bad breakfast Not so great pool Stiff beds. Breakfast bar was nice. Could have used a bit of variety as we stayed for 2 nights. provided with blanket with holes in it. could not get digital channels on the tv, missed an episode of our favourite show. Price was comparable to most other motels in area, but we got a better deal at Days Inn, Barrie before & that's where we'll go next time. Hot tub wasnt working and pool was very run down. Drain in sink, was terrible. Paint was chipping off in washroom also. Curtains did not close properly Bath water did not drain filled up with hair!! Bacon very fatty and thin greasy.
