Large room, beautiful view from our balcony, quiet. Enjoyed the continental breakfast coupons, and with the meager 7.35 extra charge, all the bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages and hash browns you wanted. Ideal for families with children. Would return anytime...Staff very friendly! -

the view of the mountains is extraordinary. the conference was in the hotel so easy access. The underground parking and again easy walking access to everything. the sink outside of the bathroom was great as well as the little fridge.

Jay was the first person we met there with the valet service provided. He was so friendly and nice and remembered our names each time we met him. He went out of his way to make us feel special and this made our first stay here memorable. Thank you Jay! Because of you, we will probably return. Keep up the great work!

We love what Douglas Fir has to offer our two Granddaughters in terms of facilities(the pool, hot tub and play park).
We had a one bedroom chalet which was perfect for us and Douglas Fir provided a playpen and highchair, which meant we did not have to pack them in the car.
We love being able to take the bus for free, and we love the friendly staf

The Waterslides and Indoor Playground were BIG hits with the kids!! The fireplace and free wood were most welcome. The surprisingly convenient and well-stocked store on site was also a welcome convenience. The full kitchen and nearby parking were very handy. The location is far enough from town that it is quiet at night, but a close bus ride, short drive, or half hour walk away from the Resort.

The place was really well kept, and spacious. great location. - the room had a nice view, the hotel has a great location. There was no luxury but the room had all the comfort.

The location - very near the Bow River and (just) slightly away from the central bustle of downtown Banff - was convenient and yet pleasantly quiet. The staff was outstanding! Rooms were clean (better than Chateau Canmore where I stayed previously)! Sorry I forgot to leave a tip as I was rushing out of there. Probably one of the best deals out there. Cheaper even than a few bed and breakfasts that I looked at. Melissa's (?) next door was a great location for breakfast (also good prices and staff). Great that parking is available. I would stay again for sure.
