  I chose the room with patio upon suggestion of other visitors: definitely nice and cozy. Been on the ground level and surrounded by windows, though, the temperature was low and I had to keep the heat on all night long. I was staying in very traditional bulgarian room, it was new and very unique experience for me.

  Stayed in many hotels in Plovdiv. Novotel is by far the best. The upper floors has a nice city view. The receptionists were very helpful. - Good position. Friendly, informative front-desk staff. Nice design and amenities. OK value for money if you catch a discount.

  We booked a regular double room for 6 nights, but got an upgrade for the suite instead (no extra charge!) due to room planning issues. The suite was lovely. One staff member speaks french quite well, the other staff members a little english. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Clean large room ( room with 8 windows!), large bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic with choice of cooked, fruit or selection of cold meats, cheeses, yogurts etc.

  We were surprised to find Boris Palace immidiately when we entered Plovdiv. Boris, the owner of the hotel, Cristina and the rest stuff helped us with our luggage and parked our car in their private parking. Our room was in the first floor, it was nice, clean, spacious and cosy. Every night we were asked the time we would like to have our breakfast ... cosa dice la gente » the next morning. Our breakfast was always served in the table making us feeling unique as we didn't have to take a plate and wonder around the restau - excellent location, easy access both to main city sights and shopping, unique design, very friendly owner, wonderful city panorama from the terrace; just a couple of recommendations for future visitors. Make sure you've got comfortable shoes as the pavement of Saborna street is antique and not suitable for high heels; also there is a comfortable parking area just 100 meters from the hotel and it makes sense to use it instead of parking in the nearest narrow side-streets
