  Staff was very helpful with giving suggestions for the activities in the city and spoke good English. Rooms are very nice and neat. Breakfast was excellent! One of the best we had in Brazil. Location is very safe, which is important if you visit Salvador. No one could visit and not appreciate the care and thought that has gone into the design and attention to detail, especially in the bay-facing rooms, with their balconies and spacious, comfortable rooms. The pousada has a very nice covered courtyard with coffee tables, a hammoc, and a pool table, as well as a sunny terrace with rooftop views. The rooms are very simple but spacious, clean and fresh. Even though accommodation reflected the historic nature of the buildings and area (basic and old fashioned) it added to the feel of being in an historic, authentic location. We had a room which adjoined a communal terrace with fantastic sea views and ideal for enjoying a late night drink.

  good facilities, made good use of the pool and fitness room, excellent price for such comfort and luxury, breakfast was good and enjoyed the omlettes and fresh tropical fruits, - Front desk staff was amazing. Really really good. I have stayed in a lot of hotels so I know. Room had a nice terrace and I could see the ocean.
