Location was good by Flamenco Beach to get to and from all attractions. Local busses and Airport busses stopped at end of the Hotels Road (along main road) and short walk from subway staition. Very nice hotel. Very clean and neat!, My Room had a beaufitul view of the beach. Breakfast buffet was excellent! (hot and cold). The lobby is very pretty. The Swimingpool area in the 39th floor has a wonderful view of Copacabana, and Sugar loaf! The location is also very convenient. just cross street of the beach and many restaurants close b

Amazing views of Copacabana beach and Christ the Redeemer statue on
Corcovado mtn. From 33rd floor corner room. (Request a high floor for
best views). There is even a view of the mountains from the bathroom!
Windows open so you can hear the ocean all night long... Very clean,
quiet, double sinks in bathroom - marble and hardwood floors. Staff is
excellent, friendly and almost all speak English.

Staff multilingue veramente gentile, ottima terrazza con piscina,
posizione ottima a pochi passi da lapa e dalla stazione metro, zona
sicura sia di giorno che di notte. -
con la metro si arriva a copacabana in 15 minuti molto comodo.....si trova fuori dall hotel!
Rapporto qualita' prezzo ottimo...discreta colazione!!!!

Perfect for a two-three day getaway and would work well if the beach is not an option (winter) or just to mix it up before/after a few days at the beach. The area itself is interesting and from what I gather has some cool drinking holes and restaurants. One could start and finish a book in peace here, yet 'feel Brazilian', and not feel they need to join the flock of tourists seeing the usuals in Rio. I enjoyed spending time at the bar, restaurant and spa - perfect for a day of indulgence!

Location was perfect for the end of our 2 weeks in Brazil. A good place to get away from the hectic life of the more active beaches. stayed at other hotels in Barra, but this one beat them all by far. The
rooms were very clean... More than any other place I stayed, and the
hotel was located right across the street from the beach. My morning jog
was amazing on the bike trail that parallels the beach.

Excellent value; the presidential suite was really nice. I loved the stylish, fairly modern but comfortable style of decoration. The bathroom with jacuzzi/sauna was top-notch and the bedroom was perfect.

The staff at Augusto's were phenomenal. Fantastic customer service.
The staff are what made this hotel worth the money. In particular Yuri
and LIsa. They were so helpful with recommendations, calling restaurants
and communicating for us. Just fantastic hotel staff. -

From the second we walked through the door our experience was amazing.
The staff were so helpful and checked us in early, we had purchased a
room with executive level access (well worth it as there is an open bar
and lots of snacks/food available during the day free of charge!)

Great location, excellent facilities including lounge chairs on the
beach. All inclusive mini bar, late check out. We only stayed one night
at the -
Friendly and helpful staff. We had mentioned on the 'special
request' of the booking form that the reason of the trip was for a
special birthday. In our room we found a birthday cake and a bottle of
champagne courtesy of the hotel which was a very nice gesture. Spacious
reception area fantastic sea view if you get any of the front rooms
