  Dont let the reviews fool you, this is actually one of the better hotels in Copacabana for the price! We stayed in several 4 star (expensive) hotels that were not any better!!! - I was on the suite azul was so nice the room was big enought and the privat piscine was just perfect with the weather of rio ! Ill get back for my next trip ;)

  I loved my stay at Mirador Rio Hotel. The staff is awesome. Very corteous and friendly. Specil kudos to Thiago and staff at front desk. Great location; three blocks from the beach if you ae traveling under a budget. Breakfast is great! You can't miss their Pao de Queijo! (cheese balls!)   Excellent value; the presidential suite was really nice. I loved the stylish, fairly modern but comfortable style of decoration. The bathroom with jacuzzi/sauna was top-notch and the bedroom was perfect.

Staff and breakfast were great. The location was perfect for anyone wishing to stay at copacobana- right behind the copacobana palace (nicest hotel in rio) but for 1/2 the price. Highly recommend.
