  Ok, this is not a five-star hotel, but they don't charge a five-star price either. My opinion is, you get exactly what you pay for. It's in Lapa, this means it probably used to be in a slum.   This hotel has a very good location (quiet, safe, close to Flamengo Park and Beach). Very kind and helpfull staff (we asked in spanisch, they answered in portuguese or english - was a nice mixture), but we got all information we needed.
