  Santa Teresa is a wonderful neighborhood from which to explore Rio, we're so glad we stayed there! The staff was so helpful and we were extremely grateful for their skills in English. - Nice location in Santa Teresa, helpful staff (even the kitche staff spoke English - a rareity in Brazil!) and nice rooms.

  This apartment is amazing inside, very spacious, very well set up, everything you could possibly need. The owners are very flexible and helpful people, it is only 50m off the main street where the lapa arches are. The street sometimes has poor people in it - but they give NO trouble at all. However you are 7 stories up and they supply ear pl - Nelson, who owns the apartment was extremely friendly and met us in person. He provided is with maps, recommendations of where to eat and go out and tourists guides. During our stay he emailed us with further recommendations including directions and suggested prices. He also organised a taxi for us to get back to the airport. Apartment was very clean and well equipped with free fast wifi. Secure entry and a watchmen let you into the building. 10 minute walk from metro station.

They are honest and you pay by the meter. I used a car service that hotel offers when I visited steel plants that are far from the hotel. It is safe near the hotel. The hosts where very friendly and helpful they will give you all kind of information about where to go and what to do/see. They also tell you the interestin - The owners speak English very well and are incredibly friendly and helpful, giving helpful tips for seeing the city, including neighborhoods and events that we wouldn't have known to check out. The views from the balcony are wonderful, as is the extensive breakfast. The bedroom does not have a bathroom attached, but there is a full bathroom right across the hall, and it's private for the guests. The castle, replete with an underground tunnel and old-school elevator, is just as charming as Santa
