  Ok, this is not a five-star hotel, but they don't charge a five-star price either. My opinion is, you get exactly what you pay for. It's in Lapa, this means it probably used to be in a slum. It is not in a slum now. It is 50 meters from Selaron staircase, a famous landmark. It is a vibrant neighborhood, so maybe it's not ok for children -- I would... cosa dice la gente » n't know. We're a reasonably young couple, and for us it was just perfect. Stuff are very helpful, they do speak English (I was prepared to resort to - Good location in Lapa, not far away from the Arcos da Lapa or Cinelandia station. A rather tidy room.
