An excellent and up market B&B. The owners,Michael & his wife were the perfect hosts and were always friendly,helpful and accomodating.The lovely breakfast was brought to us every morning at a time of our choosing and was very good quality.Fab room with satellite tv, free movies, well stocked drinks fridge and an eco wood burning stove.We loved our stay, and would readilly recommend B&B Yoake as one of the very best we have stayed in.Thanks Michael for your hospitality!

Our hosts Katrien and Steven were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, and spoke very good English. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the house was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again. Very convenient for the centre of Ypres, but very quiet also. -

Accomadation was within easy walking distance from Ypres. We received a warm welcome and thought had been given to the 'little touches' to make our stay more comfortable. Roger and Muriel welcomed us warmly into their home. We had a spacious room with a large comfy bed,a balcony and aircon. The cooked breakfast set you up for the day, the continental offered you so much choice. It was so interesting to meet others of various nationalities around the table at breakfast. Don't miss Roger's Battlefields trip..it was worth every penny. Free parking outside and a 5 minute walk to the centre. A little gem!

The hotel is well positioned in the center. Jo, the owner, is an excellent lady. She is very kind, helpful and caring. It's hard to find taxis in Ieper, so she offered me a ride to train station. Breakfast is fantastic. The rooms are quite cosy and modern decorated. Definitely restay if I'm back to Ieper. -

Seeking a romantic night away for 2, we stayed in Natalie and Pieter’s Ypres B&B early September. Having been totally awe struck by the beauty of Ypres and finding the B&B just 2 minutes walk from the main plaza in a quiet side street, we were equally delighted with both the location and welcome we received at Fields of Gold. Central location in Ypres. Clean, simple, comfortable, functional rooms
with excellent shower. Breakfast was continental, boil your own eggs,
cereals, juice, cold meats and cheese with fresh bread and each table
had its own bowl of fresh bread rolls and pastries. Very nice and as
substantial as you want it to be. There was a bar area but so close to
the town centre there are many restaurants and bars to spend time in so
I never saw anyone using it although it was possible. Also no evening

The greeting we received when we arrived was very welcoming - this 'set the scene' for our experience of the hotel. We had hired a car for our exploration of the area, so were very glad that there was plenty of parking space. The room was spacious and very clean. It was a very easy walk to Menin Gate and to the town itself! We have been traveling around Europe for a month & stayed in many hotels - the Hotel Ariane was one of the best. The staff were exceptionally knowledgable, pleased to help with grace and delight. The hotel is an obviously interesting old building which had been wonderfully kept, clean comfortable and cool in the heat, the high ceilings were a boon. Breakfast was delicious constant fresh supplies were brought in for me the best- great coffee! We had rooms facing the road and were surprised that there was no noise issue to disturb us. Great value.
