  ottima struttura, buona posizione per visitare magnetic island o per una sosta tra whitsunday e cairns - The staff are always friendly and welcoming and very helpful. Mercure Townsville has a lovely feel to it with its well maintained gardens and pool area. We don't feel like we have to stay indoors, there are many places to enjoy in the ground... cosa dice la gente » s which makes our stay more enjoyable. - The deluxe king room was spacious with a balcony. The room had small kitchenette. It was only a 5 minute walk to the shopping centre which had buses to the city. There were a few cafes / fast food outlets in the same block.

  Friendly, courteous and obliging receptionist who arranged an early breakfast the following morning and taxi which was on time. Cafe staff also well trained in customer service engaging me in polite, welcoming conversation. - Friendly staff who went out of their way to make my late check in work.   We stayed here for two nights and got a special for the room, it had a great room with foxstar, we loved it. The bed was wonderful we hardly got out, room service was although a little on the pricey side AMAZING it's in a great area, close to everything. We're defiantly staying again! - I was a late arrival and pleased to find out the restaurant... cosa dice la gente » was open till 10pm. Most similar hotels shut the kitchen down at 8. Great quality food presented well. Easy, no fuss breakfast. Will choose to stay at Rydges next time.
