Located within a resort-style setting, all villas boast lake or garden views, a kitchen and a lounge area with a BOSE sound system, a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. Each offers an outdoor shower, a bathtub and quality guest toiletries. Some villas also include a spa bath. Bordered by rainforest gardens, Niramaya Villas are a 5-minute drive from Port Douglas and a 15-minute drive from Mossman Gorge. Palm Cove is 35 minutes’ drive away. You can work-out in the fitness centre or play a game of tennis. The Niramaya Spa offers soothing massages and treatments. The tour desk books Great Barrier Reef cruises and Daintree Rainforest tours. Rasa Restaurant and Lounge and is open for lunch and dinner, while the bar features a selection of cocktails and local and imported wine and beer. Guests are also welcome to self-cater in their villa.

Villas were beautifully presented, spacious and comfortable. Love the plunge pool and the views. Very comfortable and relaxing and will most definitely be back. The main pool was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Everything. The words I have responded to sum it up. The villa design, it's space, furniture and equipment, and general resort facilities made other 5 star accommodation seem lacking by comparison.

Very style open plan, with ponds etc dividing the differnt sections of the villa - very nice. Beautiful villas and a good restaurant. The personal concierge service was fantastic. The spa was really relaxing and the grounds are beautiful. we had a wonderful time both at the resort and in Port Douglas. Both far exceeded our expectations, and we would certainly visit both again. the layout; facilities provided; the privacy; fantastic restaurant a short walk away; location; decor. A beautiful quiet haven to retreat to. Loved the plunge pool and the gardens and birdlife. Location. Luxury villa. Privacy and space. Equipment in villa. Beautiful villas and perfect location if you have a car. facilities enviroment. Enjoyed staying in a large villa. The water feature in the pool kept me awake at night couldn't find a switch anywhere to turn if off. Not enough supplies for the whole stay, eg. coffee pods, dishwashing powder/liquid and tissues. No outdoor bins had to keep taking our rubbish to the skip bins at the back of the restaurant. BBQ also didn't work properly. 2 satchels of washing up liquid and 2 dishwasher tablets for 1 week in the villa were very low end of market (as in penny pinching) when compared to everything else which was very top end of the market. The locking sytem at the front of the property completely unsatisfactory and we were not really able to securely lock the premises when we went out. This was brought to the manager's attention, but they apparently already knew this !. There was a guy out the front of our villa with a leaf blower nearly every morning at 7:30 am. Not very restful!. Our only complaint was the complicated BOSE TV and music system for which there were no instructions. This was a very minor irritation. having to leave!. Lack of cleaning of villa and maintenance. lack of service and amenities provided. Its restaurant was closed for quiet season.
