We had a wonderful 5 nights stay at Cottage no.7, which is a 3 bedroom superior cottage. Vinnie is great with the kids, my elder son whom is 3 years old loves him. As with Sydneyresident, we experienced the power failure which affected the whole town and a few towns over. Vinnie brought around the portable generator so that we could have a quick shower and head out for activites. There's plenty to do around the area and all within 30min -90mins drive.

I loved the gourmet breakfast! The owners, Keith and Jane, know just how to make your stay perfect. I wouldn't change a thing. My favourite time of day was the evening, (exhausted from touring), sitting on the deck with a bottle of wine and looking at their beautiful garden.

The location was great, close enough to walk in to Margaret River centre and good location for exploring the region. A great Apartment was roomy and lovely and clean with plenty of equipment to cook with.I didn't come in to contact with staff until check out as we arrived late in the evening. very nice place, very helpful girls at the receptions. Good value for money considering the price around Margaret river! We had the two bedrooms apartment. It was on two floors with bedrooms on the second one. the two bedrooms are not adjacent, that was good for a little bit of privacy. Two separate toilets and one bathroom with a shower and a spa.

There was nothing to fault, exceptional value for money, perfect location, peaceful, our hosts were so nice, they even dropped us in to town for dinner then came back for us when we were ready to return. The bed very comfortable, the breakfast fresh and plentiful. It was a great anniversary escape. Thoroughly recommend -

It is located in a very beautiful area surrounded by trees and a nice garden. The garden suits are excellent for a short stay out of Margaret River town center, where you want some private and quiet area for relaxing. Me and my partner spent the night at Gilgara Retreat on arrival the hospitality was 5 star very welcoming and made us feel at home. The accomodation was beautiful romantic and allowed us to take in the surroundings we enjoyed our stay very much and anticipate returning with family and friends in August. The staff responded very acceptably to an irreversible booking cock up they fully accepted was their responsibility and very adequate recompense made.

Absolutely everything - the accommodation at Heritage Trail Lodge was superb and set in the most amazing garden. It was close to restaurants and shops and walking trails. The customer service by staff was excellent and the breakfasts that showcased local produce were top class. Although situated on the main road there was no disruption to sleep from traffic noise.

We stayed at the South unit which was very cosy and comfortable for the 4 of us. It was clean with a well-equipped kitchen and the heater was efficient for the cold nights in winter. Even though my children are 19 & 21, they thoroughly enjoyed the farmstay, especially feeding the animals, cuddling the baby lamb and patting the baby kangaroos.
