Staff were very attentive and helpful. Rooms are in the process of being upgraded. The one we were in had a new bathroom and the manager informed us that the bedrooms are being refurnished and updated as an ongoing project. Only stayed one night as we were just passing through. The room was small with no cooking or breakfast facilities, but for

Location, location, location, being able to walk out the door and onto the beach.
Basic, comfortable, budget friendly, excellent staff, friendly and only too happy to provide you with your needs.
Close to airport, store, cafe, etc
Would have enjoyed a longer stay.

Best backpackers I've ever stayed in! Staff are outstanding, the
place is so clean, beds are good and rooms are decent size, they have a
nice balcony area which you can relax or socialise in, good kitchen and
they put on free breakfast for you too! Really close to everything, pub
downstairs which gives you cheaper drinks if you're a guest (and you

can't hear any noise either from upstairs if you want to sleep!),
main street right outside, beach is a stones throw away, all in such a
perfect litt -
The manager is very friendly. I booked weeks ahead not realizing i had to check in on good friday. When I arrived at 10pm, the manager still answered the phone and opened the door to let me check in. And he drove me to the airport for free at 7am the next morning!

A very nice place to stay. For the price, you cannot get a better place
than this. I will mention the things that I liked:
1. Its like a house, you have the chance of staying there, cook have your own thing, has microwave, stove, kettle, etc.
2. Its just about 10 min away from everything in Surfers Paradise and ffrom the nearest beach.
3. Bus stop

Had a very pleasant stay low cost so we had money to spend very comforable beds , very nice staff n ppl around were very nice , very clean was suprised at how clean the shower n toilet was being it was shared but had no disappoint on anything being there I didnt want to leave 5 star rating all round and a big thankyou for sharing this experience with us
