As we were heading off to the airport early next morning this motel was ideally situated for us, being close to public transport from Brisbane and a few minutes walk from the airport. Comfortable facilities, not extravagant, but more than adequate for travellers. A tavern and a surf club are within easy walking distance for an evening meal. The owners even provided us with a lift to the airport, much appreciated as we had heavy baggage.

Friendly staff. Convenient location. We were flying out of Coolangatta airport early next morning and the terminal is across the road only 10 minutes walk away. Also very quiet. The location for air travellers is excellent,,,only across the road and you're there..amazingly there is no sound from air traffic. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We arrived out of business hours - the staff rang to make sure that we knew how to get into our room and gave us the most convenient room. We had to go to reception to get a hair drier and no microwave in the room. everything was fine. comfort - hard bed. quite old fashion. There was nothing that we didn't like. Poor value for money. Secluded and guests must have a car.
