  This small boutique hotel is beautiful inside (and discretely unassuming from the street). The rooms are spacious and well-lighted, with beautiful hardwood floors and patios. The upstairs terrace is lovely place to relax with a glass of wine. The complementary breakfast was excellent. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, gracious, patient, h... cosa dice la gente » elpful. They happily reserved dinner reservations and made arrangements for us to see a tango show and much more. The main metro line is a few blocks - Very helpful, friendly staff. They arranged to have us met at the airport after our long flight. They recommended a nearby excellent restaurant - La Choza - for our evening meal. Magnolia is a charming, small property with more ambience than a large, chain hotel. Very clean rooms. Great breakfast provided as well.

  It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time.
