It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious, comfortable and the overall colonial look very well maintained. The linen is impeccable and had one of the most comfortable sleeps ever in this hotel. -

Once we moved to Hotel Suites and Lofts 1 (the loft-one of the twohotels), the staff was very helpful, the hotel very clean and the valuefor money good. Especially the staff needs mentioning here. However,this does not apply to Hollywood Suites and Lofts 2 (the suites-tower)!!!!
