The beds and pillows are amazing.
The decor is great.
My kids loved using the little shelves in the back bedroom.

We had an upgrade to the more private part of the motel. The room is great, very large, very comfortable, with a perfect bed and a large bathroom. Very good hotel for a very good price, considering the location, very
close to santa monica beach. I had a misunderstanding for the night
parking, but I understood that limited space was temporarily and the
night guy did not mention to me they had another private parking. Aside
from that receptionist really helpful and friendly, the room very big
and clean, good wifi and facilities. Very helpful the laundry on site
for only 4$ wash and dry.

The connoisseur was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The
folks at the front desk and valet parking were also very friendly and

Everything! My room, though not large, was beautifully appointed with a deck and a panoramic view of the beach and ocean. I could see past the Ferris Wheel at the Santa Monica Pier!
The room service was outstanding and breakfast at the gourmet restaurant was wonderful. Each staff member I met was warm, friendly and extremely professional. I would definitely return again and again!

The location cannot be beaten, it was a great way to round off our month
trip in the States. We had an oceanview room which I would recommend,

blocks down to Main St where you can also get buses that connect you to

Apt was very spacious and although it was reminiscent of 1960's in its fittings, the kitchen was well equipped and the bed large and comfortable. Polished wood floors helped to give it a more modern spin and to have so much space at that price and in that location was great. The swimming pool, cleaned daily, was a welcome bonus. The service from reception to general staff was excellent. The reception staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our tours were arranged which left us stress free. The service from everybody was prompt and every request was met. The staff made out stay, the best of anywhere on our trip. it is the only place we would go back to. I cant thank them enough.

When I walked into my room it was like a breath of fresh air. The room was very bright, the floor was a wood laminate so there wasn't that old carpet smell that so many budget hotels have. The bedding was clean. I had a sink, microwave, and refrigerator in my room. Sharing a bathroom was not a big deal. I never had to wait for a shower, and the bathroom was kept clean. Staying at shangri la is probably the best so far. The necessities are well handled and customer service is just brilliant. Like any other shangri la around the world, this branch also offers the same quality. Obviously there are many variations on the layout, service and sizes. But that didn't bother us. None to complain so far. -

Also, i used the parking space for shangrila. The service there is brilliant. Althought its a bit expensive than normal parking rates, it keeps your car safe.
