The front dest staff is friendly and helpful. The location is one block
off the beach and is in close proximity to a number of local restaurants
and MacDonald'S. The street in front of the hotel, McReary, has a
bus 53 that goes to Old San Juan or a taxi for $18. The hotel is great
value for an experienced traveller but is not a 5 star or would not

block away, Acacia, that might appeal to the more trendy. -
Only a block from the beach, the location is excellent. It is very clean and picturesque. A spoiled rotten pet cat who greeted all guests completed the "home away from home" treatment.
The swimming pool is beautiful, and the staff could not be friendlier. The room was very comfortable and clean.
I had local friends who visited me tell me that the site is lovely!
Most definitely will return...

The staff (Marlene & others) were delightful and extremely accommodating. The "Inn," which is more like a series of villas connected together was beautifully set - perhaps 10 meters from the Beach. The outstanding friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was
refreshing. They went out of their way to offer assistance and always
were accommodating. A delicious spread at breakfast was very pleasant in
the outdoor garden looking onto the ocean. I had forgot my phone charger
in the room and the cleaning staff turned it in; I received it when I
returned to pick up my bags later in the day. Overall, I give them the
highest marks in service, location and amenities. I will definitely be
returning

This is an awesome little gem if you are looking to stay in the ritzy
part of San Juan (Condado Beach). We arrived almost midnight, but the
front desk left us keys to get into the house and the room in a
specified area. The keys came with a note with instructions and contact
information if we needed help, just make sure you call a day or 2 before

Launchy was Very accommodating, had ac prepped for us on arrival. Did
not need it the second day. (After acclimating to temperature) had
private door to balcony and had the ocean air breeze. Coming in. The
Balcony overlooked the sea. And could sit there all day or night long.
Or sleep right on balcony. Smooth Jazz Music could be heard from the
restaurant near by, but ocean waves were louder. Launchy recommended
nearby places. When asked. We borrowed a handbook from the library on
the island act

Everything. It is a family friendly, family run hotel in a great location in Old SJ. Can walk to everything. It is not hard on the budget. It is not a luxury hotel, so if that is what you are looking for, stay elsewhere. However, it meets your basic travel needs (clean room, good bed, clean shower) and for us it was perfect. Stay there!! -

I only stayed one night and because of circumstances it was a last
minute call. From the moment I called they were helpful courteous, and
from the moment I arrived I felt home. The staff was friendly and
accommodating they have me a great room it was clean and cozy. It was
right next to the beach and although a city beach it was very pleasant.
The price was right and affordable. I would have loved to stay there
longer. I recommend it.

The Hotel Plaza De Armas was the perfect location for exploring Old San Juan! The free trolley stops right at the door and the cruise and ferry docks are an easy walk away. Nice, OLD, OLD hotel in the heart of Old San Juan. Within walking distance to many of the things to see and a fairly short taxi ride to the airport and cruise port for Celebrity Cruises. Other cruise terminals are even closer.
The hotel had no special attractions other than old world charm, good location and GREAT staff. Luis Garzon was especially helpful with directions, restaurants, tour trolleys and using the antiquated elevator -- when it worked. When it broke down, hotel staff was quick

My family has been staying there for decades every time we vacation in PR -- since back when it was double the size, a beautiful pool, and dozens of iguanas in the patio! Although we swear the furniture has been the same there since the 70's, it's super clean, beds are very comfortable, and location is great.

We enjoy the staff they good and helpful all the time. And the hotel is in the middle eferything that what so good about the stay it was in walking distance to a few of the hot spot.And the beach is in your backyard which we love and we are from flordia which we are know for there beaches!
