  My husband and I loved the large pool with the sky lights above. It was nice and warm, just like bath water. The staff were very attentive and helped us with every need.   My husband and I stayed at the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids the night of our wedding and the day after as well. When we checked into our room, we had a bottle of champagne, food and a nice card from the staff waiting for us. The service was superb and exactly what we anticipated. The beds were amazingly comfortable and we thought of trying to buy their pillows. Overall, a very good hotel! And this hotel is in the center of the city and everything is right outside the door.

  A truly enjoyable experience. We arrived at 11:30am for a 3pm check-in and were able to get a room (with a river view) right away. The room was clean and so comfortable. There were plenty of towels, extra pillows and blankets right in the room. The location is perfect for an evening downtown and parking is convenient.   We chose this hotel for its location and shuttle service. The Inn is very easy to get to from the interstate. My fiance and I visited Detroit to attend the Red Wings game and the shuttle is the most convenient way to get there. The weather was horrible and the driver navigated the roads expertly. We stayed in the suite on our first visit which was very nice. On our second visit we stayed in a regular queen deluxe room and had plenty of space. The staff was very attentive. It was really clean and gave us a clean sheet and baby blanket to use. The day of our check out they knew we would have our hands full with the two young kids.
